At its best, psychotherapy is an invitation—to slow down, step inward, and make sense of the stories that shape us. It can help us loosen the grip of old patterns, repair the places where trust has been broken, and create space for growth that feels authentic and lasting.
For more than a decade, I have accompanied individuals and couples on this journey. My work often centers on helping people recognize and release the weight of family-of-origin dynamics so that they are no longer bound by histories that repeat themselves. In this process, clients often discover a clearer sense of self, greater freedom in their relationships, and the ability to approach life with more intention and compassion.
I also have a strong commitment to supporting new fathers. Becoming a parent can bring immense joy—but it can also stir feelings of uncertainty, overwhelm, or disconnection. Many fathers struggle silently, unsure of how to balance their own identity with the responsibilities of caring for a child and partner. I create a space where those experiences can be spoken, normalized, and transformed into a foundation for deeper connection and strength in fatherhood.
In addition to my clinical practice, I serve as Clinical Director and Adjunct Professor in the Marriage and Family Therapy program at Iona University. Guiding and training the next generation of therapists is a vital part of my work. It keeps me deeply engaged with the evolving field of therapy, grounded in both academic knowledge and the lived wisdom that emerges from clinical practice.
My approach is relational and holistic, drawing on Internal Family Systems and Emotionally Focused Therapy. Yet beyond any model, I see therapy as a shared process—one that helps people come into fuller relationship with themselves, with those they love, and with the broader story of their lives.
